Broker's Comments

The Vancouver 34 Pilot is a renowned and respected serious offshore cruiser with excellent load carrying characteristics, and stability due to her contemporary design.  They have plenty of working space on deck and a versatile accommodation plan, including a spacious galley and deck saloon, double fore-cabin, crew cabin and separate heads. These boats also have a safe and comfortable feel, with both a large workable and dry cockpit and alternative, interior helm position.  With the well balanced rig and large rudder, this boat is light on the helm and performs well in light airs as well as heavy weather, with self tacking stay sail system fitted for assisted ease of sailing. The genoa is not self tacking as I allude to in one of my videos so apologies for that slight error.

When I visited the boat, I was struck by its light and airy feel due to the number of hatches, windows and spacious accommodation. The boat appears to be a well maintained and presented example and therefore an attractive option for a range of uses, including extended cruising and live-aboard potential. So, for anybody looking for a well equipped, comfortable and capable cruiser, this boat should be considered.

The boat internally is lovely and clean, well equipped and beautifully presented externally - her paintwork is of very high quality with a good array of navigation electronics onboard.

She is a testament to her current owners' obvious love for this boat due to her beautiful condition both inside and out.
