The port locker has been professionally modified to house this larger and more powerful Yamaha outboard engine. It employs special gear ratios and a large diameter dual thrust prop to give extra power through the water both in forward and reverse gears. The result delivers excellent perfomance and fuel consumption, thereby solving problems that have been encountered in other Horizon 23s. The cost was in excess of £3000.

Hull was epoxicoated when new and copper coated in 2005.
Between 2007 and 2010 the boat has undergone considerable upgrading including new nav lights and co-ax cable to the masthead, new skin fittings, new sea cocks, new cabin windows and fittings, new electrical panel and master switch, new fenders, new linings in aft berth, new sprayhood windows and more! This is a very well presented version of the popular Hunter Horizon 23. She has been extensively upgraded and carefully maintained. For sale including her own twin axle braked road trailer she could be towed to a new home or taken on holidays. There appears to be nothing to do but sail away!
