Broker's Comments

Boatshed London are delighted to offer this 60ft Narrowboat for sale with London mooring.

This 1991 boat has been fully refurbished to the highest standard and makes an ideal liveaboard home in London. With a bright master cabin and extra berths for guests in the boatman's cabin and a sofa bed in the living area, there is plenty of space for visiting friends and family.

The boat has been beautifully fitted out with a very modern feel. LED lighting, wooden worktops and bright walls make it a great place to spend time and combined with the mooring at Limehouse Basin, this is one of the most desirable narrowboats on the market right now.

The heart of this boat, the engine, is also a real talking point. Russell Newbury DM1's are a traditionalist's dream engine and the current owner has been stopped wherever he goes with people wanting to see the 1 cylinder engine in action. It has been lovingly maintained and is a feature of the boat in itself.

The Leisure mooring at Limehouse Basin is transferable to the new owner on payment of a 5% transfer fee. Current mooring fees are £9,700 p.a.. The marina is particularly well located for people working in the City or Canary Wharf with DLR links to both locations. Limehouse Basin itself is a friendly community of boaters who all enjoy the 'village' feel that the marina along with excellent security, laundry, onshore shower block and marina WiFi.
