Dear Sirs, We have just purchased our first narrowboat from Mr Phil Bassett (Grand Union) and felt we had to send you our feedback. From our initial inquiry Phil was courteous, informative and quick to respond to making our first viewing appointment. We had two viewings in total and I cannot praise Phil enough for his salesmanship. He took every question we had seriously, following up each inquiry quickly, sometimes having to liaise with the owner. He obviously has a good professional working relationship with the marina that the boat is moored at which made our purchase even easier with any further questions. We originally had a one twelfth share in a narrow boat for four years in total but always knew we would purchase our own, visiting a number of brokers within a radius of about 80 miles. Initial response from many was flimsy with hardly any followup and the quality of the boats at times was questionable for the price and we had doubts as to whether offers were in fact relayed to the owner! How refreshing to find Phil at Boatshed Grand Union who instilled confidence in us and made our buying experience so pleasurable, a feather in your cap.

My partner Michael Kelly and I have just bought a boat from Boatshed in Costa Brava, Empuriabrava. I and my wife Julia, would like to pass on our thanks on to Keith for making the purchase of our first boat, Volare, an absolute pleasure. Keith arranged everything from the first viewing to completion of the sale, including transportation from Gt Yarmouth to Windsor. We were unable to be present to take delivery of Volare after completion, so after he arranged for the hauliers to pick up the boat, Keith was also on hand to ensure she was lifted onto the transport at Gt Yarmouth and sent safely on her way to us. We are still in touch with Keith (Boatshed Norfolk) who is always available to answer any questions which have cropped up since we took delivery of her last Month. Dear Scott (Boatshed Seattle), I am writing this letter to show my appreciation for a job well done. I cannot thank you enough for all of the help you provided me this past fall with the purchase of my boat, Coast Guard 44364, through your company Waterline Boats. This was a rather complex transaction being that I live in Ohio and the boat was located in Seattle. If it were not for your understanding broker skills I would not have been able to purchase this boat and get it transported to Ohio. I learned a great deal from watching you see this deal through to the very last detail including personally seeing to it that the boat was properly loaded on the transport truck as it prepared for its journey to its new home in Sandusky, Ohio. The boat is now in dry dock in Sandusky, winterized, and waiting for the spring to have the hull sandblasted and repainted in its traditional Coast Guard white. The boat should be ready to go by the end of May to participate in local Memorial Day Events. There has been a great deal of interest in the 44364 since its arrival in Sandusky and it was featured in a local newspaper, the _Sandusky Register,_ on November 28, 2011. I was pleased to see that the reporter contacted you to provide details on how we actually got the boat transported to Sandusky. I have enclosed the newspaper article for you.
